"Stakes of Gum" is the eighteenth episode of the first season of DKH's Episodes.

Synopsis[]

Marceline encounters Bonnibel at a rock concert, to her surprise.

Plot[]

Lady Rainicorn lands on the ground to deposit Princess Bubblegum and Cinnamon Bun. PB thanked her and said to pick them back up around 7. PB and CB entered the rock concert and decided to stand somewhere between the crowd of the undead. They then saw that Marceline was going to preform. Marceline sung the (full) song "Daddy" and "I'm In Charge Here" after she was done she spotted PB in the audience. Marceline headed over to her and asked why she was here. PB, who was blushing, said that Cinnamon Bun likes rock concerts and that she likes it herself too. Marceline blushed too and said she had a break and asked the two to come backstage.

Backstage Cinnamon Bun saw his favorite band ABCD and went over to them. Marceline asked how she figured out there was a concert. PB told that Marceline gave tickets to Finn and Jake, but they didn't wanted to so PB asked if she could have them. Marceline was surprised. PB said she really liked the music Marcie played, because all of her songs have a meaning to them. Marceline wanted to say something but was called on stage again.

Marceline now preformed the song "I'm Just Your Problem" and "Oh Bubblegum" which appealed to PB. After the song PB got a little sad and Cinnamon Bun asked what was wrong. PB told that she had been so mean to Marceline while she actually cares much for her. PB met up with Marceline again and apologized for her behavior. Marceline she didn't mind, there were a few moments of silence and staring until Marceline had to preform again.

Marceline now preformed the song "Nuts" and "Remember You" and said she dedicated this to her lost best friend. After the song was finished she said she was done for today but the crowd wanted one more song, including PB and Cinnamon Bun. Marceline agreed and said she just made this song. Marceline flew up in the sky and preformed the song "My Sweet Lust" which PB noticed it was about her again. PB discovered the message of Marceline and during the song she was pulled up on stage. The two girls sang together and at the end of the song kissed each other. Marceline said; "You're my sweet lust." and PB said; "And you're my sweet lust." The girls then bowed and left the stage while everyone was clapping and Cinnamon Bun was even crying.

Marceline's love for Bubblegum finally revealed itself.
This is the second time Cinnamon Bun wears different clothes, the first was in "The Creeps."
Cinnamon Bun shirt says; ABCD which is a parody of AC/DC
This is the second time Princess Bubblegum wears the shirt she got from Marceline, the first on being "What Was Missing."
All the songs sung by Marceline appear again in full length with the exception of; Journal Song, House Hunting Song, Fisherman Song and My Best Friends in the World.
